Björn Otto

Björn Otto is a certified employment lawyer and partner of international law firm CMS. A main focus of Björn's practice is on transformation projects, outsourcing and restructuring as well as privatization. Björn has particular expertise in the fields of (national and international) boardroom codetermination, matrix structures of multinationals, the establishment of compliance structures, insolvency specific employment law, European and SE (Societas Europaea) Works Council issues and cross-border reorganization projects. Alberto de Luca

Rie Taiko

Rie Taiko is a labor and employment law partner of TMI Associates. She is located in Tokyo, Japan and provides strategic and practical counselling to both domestic and foreign clients in various industries including retail, staffing, manufacturing, IT and transportation.

Jenny Tsin

Jenny TSIN is the Co-Head of WongPartnership’s Employment Practice and a Partner in the Commercial & Corporate Disputes Practice, Corporate Governance & Compliance Practice and the Corporate & Regulatory Investigations Practice.

Jenny is experienced in all aspects of employment laws, with particular focus on preventing and resolving disputes between employers and employees; and advising clients in respect of their employment related regulatory obligations. On the investigations front, Jenny frequently handles sensitive and complex investigations relating to employee misconduct, conduct which potentially amounts to breaches of sanctions and other financial regulations, privacy breaches, and in landmark cases involving workplace safety breaches. Jenny's dispute resolution experience also spans both litigation and arbitration.

Sky Yang

Sky Yang is a partner in the Corporate and M&A Practice Group at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL). Mr. Yang also served as a managing partner and CFO of BKL. Since joining the firm in 1993, Mr. Yang has been actively advising in general corporate, M&A and financial regulatory sectors; and has worked extensively with major domestic and international private equity funds, multinational corporations, financial services firms and institutional investors with a broad range of general corporate and transactional matters, including inbound and outbound cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign-direct investments, private equity transactions, corporate governance, leveraged buy-outs, and corporate restructurings, among other areas of practice. Kathryn Weaver is an employment law partner at Seyfarth Shaw, an AmLaw 100 full-service international law firm. She is the Co-Managing Partner of the firm’s Hong Kong office and also heads up the Asia Pacific employment practice. Kathryn is dual-qualified (Hong Kong and England &Wales) and has over 15 years’ experience of advising multi-national employers in the Asia Pacific region on international employment law matters. Her work spans both contentious and non-contentious matters, such as advising on restructurings and terminations, coordinating litigation, carrying out contract, policy and compliance reviews, and negotiating settlements.
