RICCARDO G. CAJOLA – PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Riccardo G. Cajola is managing partner at Cajola & Associati, a law firm based in Milan. Riccardo is currently Chief Technology Officer Inter Pacific Bar Association. His practice is focused on transactional, tax and commercial work particularly in the Technology Law sector, as well as M&A, private equity investments, corporate restructurings, and a variety of other general corporate transactions.

His foundational experiences as an intellectual property law and tax law litigator, reflects in Riccardo’s work as a commercial/transactional lawyer and is often manifested in complex matters involving analysis and strategy of commercially dynamic business models.

He currently serves as member of the supervisory boards and of the statutory auditor boards of several domestic corporations, mostly belonging to multinational groups.

Riccardo Cajola is editor and co-author of several legal publications, including the International Bar Association “Guidelines and Regulations to Provide Insights on Public Policies to Ensure AI’s Beneficial Use as a Professional Tool” and he is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences.

He graduated at Università degli Studi di Milano and as LL.M. in International legal Studies in Washington D.C. at American University, Washington College of Law.

Antony Cook has over 30 years of experience in the technology sector and more than 20 years at Microsoft. He has gained deep experience in providing legal, regulatory, and public affairs counsel to businesses around the world.

Antony leads Microsoft’s Customer and Partner Solutions group (CPS), a team comprised of more than 380 legal and government affairs professionals located in over 50 countries around the world. He oversees all the legal support for Microsoft’s worldwide commercial sales organization, while also helping to ensure Microsoft’s business is conducted in a trustworthy and compliant manner. The CPS organization also pioneers new legal and corporate affairs solutions that advance business goals to benefit consumers, industry partners, and communities.

Before coming to the Microsoft headquarters based in Redmond, WA, Antony was based in Singapore, leading the team providing legal and government affairs support for the Microsoft Asia sales business. Prior to that, he was in Istanbul and then Dubai as Associate General Counsel, Legal and Corporate Affairs, Middle East, and Africa.

In addition to his work at Microsoft, Antony is a member of both the Executive Committee of the Board of the National Center for APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) and the World Justice Project Rule of Law Leadership Council. He is also on the Advisory Board for the Singapore Management University School of Law.

Prof. Takayuki Matsuo serves as a partner at Momo-o, Matsuo & Namba, an international law firm located in Tokyo. His academic journey includes obtaining a LL.B. from the University of Tokyo, a LL.M. from Harvard Law School, and a Ph.D. in Law from Peking University Law School. Throughout his career, Prof. Matsuo has demonstrated expertise in handling complex international transactions and dispute resolution matters. Additionally, he holds a position as a Professor at Gakushuin University, where he imparts his knowledge and experience to future legal professionals, including through courses such as 'Career Education for Future Lawyers'. Beyond academia and legal practice, Prof. Matsuo assumes the role of Chairman at the AI Contract Review Technology Association. He has authored numerous articles and books on AI, including "ChatGPT and Legal Practice," published by Kobundo Publishing in Japan, reflecting his deep engagement with the intersection of artificial intelligence and legal affairs.
